I disagree. Remember all the discussion over the last few years about the GOP being stuck in ‘Epistemic Closure’, because they only watched Fox News, listened to Hate Radio, and read NRO and other right-wing opinion sources?

Well, Trump is like a distillation of that. He attacks Fox News except for Hannity and O’Reilly, he listens to Alex Jones, and not does he only read Breitbart, he actually HIRED the head of Andrew Breitbart’s Rotting Corpse to run his campaign.

The worse things have gotten for him, the LESS he’s left that ever-shrinking bubble, because those are the people who tell him that the ‘Bill’s Women’ stunt in the second debate worked, that ‘Because you’d be in jail’ was a master stroke, and that ‘Such a nasty woman!’ will get him suburban women’s votes.
