I am just a bit skeptical of this on the basis of that well established principle of logic, “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.”
As a precaution, we should probably try to raise funds to outbid Trump and get it released anyway. The seller would need to factor in that we (the “not Trumpers”) are far more likely to actually pay.
