Why, again, exactly do we lump tens and hundreds of different issues, into two camps, and call them “left” and “right”?

Convenience. The dichotomy goes deeper than politics—Romantic/Classical,
Apollonian/Dionysian, and probably other elements I don’t know or can’t remember.
