All these computer generated images of clean, clear water gently covering New York City, its airports, its subways is really starting to piss me off. Did we learn nothing from Katrina and the real effects of massive flooding? Now, I’m not saying CNN or MSNBC need to add floating dead orcs, elves, or stock traders to their pictures, but don’t do the 3-D images as if they’re some kind of model in a swimming pool. Shit gets destroyed in storms like this. People need to board up and get the fuck out of the way, not wait for the gentle blue shadow to cover their car then disappear.
