The scariest thing Trump has done is inspire personal devotion. No doubt, I admired Obama but I didn’t feel like I owed him a slavish loyalty. I proudly supported him and still do but there’s a difference.

It’s not personal devotion. It’s cultlike loyalty and godlike worship. It’s scary.
