APNEWSALERT: WASHINGTON (AP) — Barr tells AP that Justice Dept. hasn’t uncovered widespread voting fraud that could have changed 2020 election outcome.

Something I’ve been thinking about for weeks: was our election security tight enough that Russia didn’t attempt the level of ratfuckery from 2016? Or did they try and it just wasn’t successful?

I might be conflating two different things, though. There was no evidence they actually manipulated any results last time. I can’t imagine this is any different. It just seems like the Fancy Bear-esque hacking of emails wasn’t as big an issue this time around.

I also wonder if Facebook and Twitter finally being shamed into calling Trump’s lies for what they are, for once, helped tamp any potential BS down.
