re: #128 sagehen

Really? After two best-selling books and a two-year campaign, which included dozens of debates, dozens of speeches and constant press availability — followed by an inauguration that included yet more speeches, and now almost six months in office that include so far several foreign trips with still more speeches and press conferences, daily press releases, dozens of appointments of people whose own views are well-known, several major pieces of legislation…. you still know nothing about him? Really? You’re just not paying attention.

People don’t read books, they depend upon the MSM to give them the facts.

Why wasn’t his radio interview in which he said he believed in “redistributing wealth” and “reparations” for African Americans widely broadcast? Why wasn’t his relationship with Bill Ayers examined? Rather the press was willing to accept that he was “just someone from the neighborhood”. Why, even now, is his speech where he says he believes in a “single payer” healthcare system (from 2002) where he also says it will be done in stages, not brought up? Why did American Jews in Israel NOT support him (25% did - now it’s down to 6%, btw) vs. American Jews who overwhelmingly supported him (78%)? [Hint: Could have been what the press reported? NAH.]

Where is the Kahlidi tape that the LA Times is still not releasing?!
