Actually, you’d be surprised about Texas as I was when I watched this What Would You Do segment:

There is still hope for Texas (not that I’m in a hurry to go on holiday there with my husband and little boy).

Surprisingly to many, the mayor of Houston is openly lesbian. It’s the biggest city in the US to ever have an out of the closet gay mayor. Then again Houston will be the site of Gov. Goodhair’s explicitly Christian day of prayer to ask Jesus to save America, an event co-sponsored by the rabidly anti-gay Amer. Family Assoc.

Houston is one big sprawling contradiction.
