re: #106 The Yankee

Two totally different questions.

1. The Apartment Building Bombings of Sept. of 1999, do most of the people of your country consider that to be an Red Flag operation because of some of the details of bombing. Like one of the members of Parliament mentioning it before it happen. Or is it widely excepted that Chechnya did it?

2. Last how bad is the Neo Nazi problem in Slavic countries. I hear it is pretty bad in Russia where the cops pretty much don’t care or side with the Nazis. I am a black guy debating on visiting St. Peterburge one of these days. I know it is going to be risky either way but i been in risky areas of my country and other countries.

Thanks in advice sorry to change topics.

1. I don’t know the current opinion.

In 2002, right after Berezovsky’s conspiracy film was shown on one of the federal channels there was a poll, the results are at levada.ru

6% thought the bombings were organized by secret services, 37% thought it was neither proven, nor could it be excluded. 38% Thought that the possibility of secret services involvement can be excluded. 19% could not answer.

Seleznyov did not actually mention the massive Volgodonsk bombing beforehand. He did refer to an “explosion of a house” in Volgodonsk, but this rather obviously referred to a smaller explosion that did happen on that day, even though Seleznyov’s description wasn’t quite accurate. The argument that it referred to the explosion 3 days later doesn’t actually make sense, if you think the whole scenario through.

Also, AFAIC, there isn’t actual credible evidence that FSB performed the bombings. No more than there is evidence that CIA was the culprit behind 9/11.

2. The problem is pretty bad. You should certainly be wary of skinheads, even when you visit the “Northern capital”. It doesn’t mean you will be attacked in daylight in the center of the city, however you should avoid dates like Nov. 4 and other days when nationalists march, as well as massive sports events, esp. soccer.
