I don’t comment much on Dem/progressive internals. I’m just not equipped as a long time indy. But honestly the left got hammered by the perfect shit-storm the likes have not been seen in at least two generations.

From my seat, Bernie managed to be the one guy that could screw the party primary with the best ideas about what went wrong in the recession and since. The banks etc, his whole Occupy-esqe rant. But his aim was off 180 degrees. So, with all else, nearly a three million vote popular majority loss.

By about 70,000 votes the GOP got lotto lucky. Aliens landed and bought the winning ticket lucky. I will never understand it as long as I live.
