The Guardian article notes:

Is anyone asking if the German government is going to repatriate 300K Germans? I can’t seem to find anything in English on the situation.

I haven’t seen anything to that effect either, but I’d imagine the German government would make efforts to repatriate stranded German tourists currently out of the country. Any responsible government would do that.*

*Trump would probably leave them stranded.
