Ugh. Why on earth haven’t all the Trump-appointed executive branch slime been removed? Is this another case like DeJoy where the president doesn’t have the actual power to fire?

Traditionally, IGs were supposed to be nonpartisan, because they were supposed to engage in unbiased investigations. Of course Trump started firing IGs who were investigating his corruption.
