I agree, but the Church definitely speaks out against abortion, and some bishops even refuse communion to politicians who are publicly pro-abortion. This is done for the politicians’ own good, as receiving communion while in a state of mortal sin puts their souls in jeopardy of eternal damnation. Short of cracking pro-abortion laymen, priests, and bishops over the head with a stick, this is all they can do. Although sometimes I wish they’d do that.

Communion should be refused to all of them. That is what is so frustrating.
