It is what it is. Either make the enemy respect your strength or be attacked. That’s the way the world works. Fanatical totalitarians like Mao tse-Tung and Kim il-Sung do not respect ‘soft power’.

LOL, all Bush accomplished by attacking Iraq was to empower Iran. Nobody respects a nation that electively chooses to get bogged down in a pointless insurgency. It doesn’t demonstrate strength to turn your soldiers into targets for zero gain and not in defense of the country, it demonstrates reckless stupidity.
