When I’m on the road, I have to pay attention to keep my HR below 150, because I can go longer if I stay in the 120-140 range. I can ride for 2-3 hours easily.
If I’m indoors, I have to CONCENTRATE to keep my HR from falling below 120. I can manage it for about 40 minutes before mental exhaustion makes me stop.
Today’s average HR from my run was 161 bpm. But that was running.
