Guns are dick substitutes for many of these “conservatives”, for others it is their preferred method of Pissing off a Liberal. They will continue to do that regardless of the outcome of the election, which they will claim was shot through with (liberal) voter fraud regardless of the outcome and reject outright if they lose.

They bellyache about liberal voter fraud anyway. The stories of “busloads of people from Massachusetts to New Hampshire” are legendary.

The trick is to motivate the squishy middle to get off their duffs and vote.

I seriously doubt there’s more than a handful of Democratic voters nationwide who would vote for Trump. Those who did last time saw their jobs outsourced (like the Carrier plant move) or eliminated (like the Lordstown car plant). They will not be voting for Trump again.

In the event Trump loses though, if there was any violence it would be easier for the sore losers to kill those around them in their own communities. Rather than launch an attack on Omaha or Chicago or Denver, it’s easier to pick people off where you outnumber them.

And that goes back to my worst-case vision about that: I am under no illusion that liberals in other states would give a damn about liberals in red states.

How many times do you see commentary such as “Well, you got the government you deserve” despite significant minorities of people not voting for those governments?

If such a condition was to pass, I would hope Canada or Mexico would open up asylum to Americans because I don’t see places like Illinois or California coming to do anything to help us.
