You know, I’m not sold on the “Fair Tax” myself. But I’ve had good conversations with intelligent conservatives who do. Why do you label it “nutty and dishonest”?

It’s the current sales taxes that are dishonest. We don’t even know the level of taxation in our current prices. Businessmen don’t suck that up- that pass the cost on to the consumers.
