Ward Churchill got kicked out of AIM in 1986. Here’s that document:

Then, there’s the whole AIM Split that occurred, which allowed him to have his own little AIM group. It was so cute. Myself, was involved in AIM, and other more radical native groups in the late 70s, early 80s - which was probably part of the reason I ended up being so conservative not long after that.
