We’ve reached a balmy 33 degrees today in Houston. Looks like it will be our high for the day. Well weather high. My incidental high (not a downside but it is only 3:30 in the afternoon) is sipping hot spiced cider with rum that warms from the bones out to try to achieve a semblance of warmth. Buddy is buried under afghans and the kits are cuddled in front of the electric fireplace.

And we’ve got it easy here in the sub-tropics. My best to y’all who are REALLY cold.
