I can pretty unreservedly recommend The Hurt Locker. I groaned when the epigraph at the film’s opening was by lying scumbag Chris Hedges; but this was NOT a bash-the-US-military film, at all. It could have used slightly tighter editing, but the EOD scenes and battle scenes were superb; and in general it shows our guys as brave and dedicated, and the insurgents as bad guys. Two scaly lizardoid appendages up.
