Have no sympathy for them. These people had no mercy in gunning down civilians even children. When their more moral compatriots broke away, they did the right thing. For now, there is a little safety.

My thoughts were more towards civilians that are probably in the cross fire between troops still loyal to Bashar and the ones rebelling against him
