They’ve basically seized control of the GOP.

The GOP will have to be destroyed. But a new party will arise from its ruins, hopefully, a sensible one.

GOP delenda est.

The country has survived the implosion or destruction of major parties before.

The Libertarian Party is already positioned as a potential opponent to the Democratic Party, since the LP has a presence in all fifty states. They will have to figure out a way to get rid of their own wingnuts though, or they’ll destroy the LP too.
