I love me some Tolkein, but the Silmarillion is turgid, turgid stuff.

OMG, I had to make spreadsheets to get it all straight —listen on audio and read at the same time.

It’s so beautiful tho. worth the effort.

I LOVE Tolkien’s creation story.
