re: #106 lawhawk

This time, it’s San Diego, and the ACORN employee is actively soliciting Giles as though she’s a real prostitute and wants to help in smuggling children into the US to engage in child prostitution. Yeah, it’s great stuff, but it is still the sideshow to the real main event.

ACORN will make cosmetic changes to claim that they’ve cleaned out the bad apples, but they keep hiring people of questionable moral and ethical flexibility who not only ignore the clear criminality suggested, but provide new and more illegal methods of engaging in same (tax evasion, prostitution, child prostitution, harboring/transporting illegal aliens, etc.)

That’s a much bigger problem, and even then,it’s not the main event.

The main event is the need to unwind all the money - where it’s coming from and where it’s all going. If they’re comingling funds for homeowner assistance with their political operations, they’re in big trouble and could lose tax exemption status.

Investigators need to look at conducting serious and fully involved audits to figure out what’s going on there - and can’t just rely on ACORN to do the job via an independent source.

They will not open their books so how can we ever know if they are comingling funds for helping the poor with their political work?
