Take it from an old. Any time you feel yourself respecting a Republican, hold off—chances are, at about a 99.9% rate of accuracy, they will revert to being the same assholes they always were, despite one or two sane statements. (It’s like Charles P. Pierce’s 5 minute Paul rule writ large.)
