Ah HA!

Remember how I’ve been saying recently that I’ve been getting a lot of fatwas and death threats from Turkey over the last few weeks, after the Mohemmed Image Archive was posted in several Turkish jihadi hacker forums? Well…I knew they were trying to take down zombietime, and I think I just discovered why my site is offline — a DDS attack coming out of Turkey!

I was finally able to see some of the access logs for zombietime, and it says this for the last week:

So — only 216,901 people in the US have seen the report on my site! The rest are “visits” from Turkey, which are obviously not real visits, since there are 14,937,245 of them. Some kind of automated DDS since last night, it seems.

Now I will try to figure out how to block a whole country. See if that bring zombietime back online.
