OK. Now? I can go on about it at length, speaking, and drinking, but haven’t written about it much. Basically, my notion is that since the 2nd directly ties gun ownership to a regulated militia, that’s how we should handle it. You own a gun, you demonstrate your ability to use it safely, and you enroll with a local militia which would operate as a sort of para-emergency-law enforcement backup, according to the needs of your locale.

Trying to adapt the concept of a revolutionary/early Republic militia to modern needs and uses.

Sort of like the Civil Air Patrol?
