Because he won’t finish any higher than third in Iowa…and a distant third, if he even gets that. Another third place finishing going into South Carolina (where he also can’t finish any higher than third) is going to turn off the money spigot. Yes, this campaign is different than any in memory. Even so, can you think of a situation where a candidate who couldn’t get as high as second in any of the first 3 contests went on to greatness?

The establishment money will get behind whomever finishes second to Trump in New Hampshire. That is why Rubio will be done if he doesn’t get it.
