A big big reason so many people support Limbaugh despite his excesses is that he’s one of the few standing up to the doublestandardistas and, in fact, throwing it back in their faces. That means a lot to folks. I started listening to him more often after Harry Reid and his cohorts used the power of the Senate to try and tar him with a phony anti-soldier statement and Limbaugh laughed at them and basically shoved their letter up Dingy Harry’s ass.

You are correct that he has a lot of listeners. But then WWF is a very popular program as well. But what have either of them actually done besides put ona side show for easily bored people?
