Living Wills are so important. This could be written in.

I’m seriously beyond grateful that my family pushed for me to get a living will, a durable general power of attorney, and a medical power of attorney for my mom last year, and that her lawyer made sure that we got them all drawn up and signed.

She’s been having a lot of health problems and memory issues lately. If I had to get any of those documents now, I don’t know that she’d be able to freely consent to them. Last year, she was able to just fine.
