Well, it’s both.

She’s white and lied about it for whatever gain she thought she could get.

A total fraud.

You can be white and listen to Black people, but you can never come from where they are and lead them in overcoming their oppression. The history is there, and that can’t ever be changed.

And I absolutely feel the same way about the oppression of women, along with the divide between Black and White women, and even class/caste. Men can be empathic or whatever you want to call it, but they can never experience the entirety of women’s lives. Just as women can’t that of men.
