Looks like the “independent” libertarian dudebros oppose prosecution more than either Dems or Repubs.

For example, support for prosecution among registered voters is slightly higher, at 55%. Sadly, support/opposition among self-indentified “Liberals” is about evenly divided at 45/47% It’s also weakest among the young, at 41/47 for 18-39 year olds. College grads are much more in favor of prosecution than most, at 62/30%. The NE and the South are also oddly more in favor of prosecution than the Mid-West and the West. Support also rises with income.
