Back with another observation of “Why television is scaring Republicans.” I’m still mostly fixed on ads because they’re still more adventurous with changing norms than most TV shows. My newest observation is this: Black women in commercials are not wearing white women hair. It’s not straight. Sometimes, it’s really big. And white guys are still marrying them, though I hope the guy in the PetSmart or PetCo commercial realizes that he comes in second to the dog.
