You nailed it. I think the GOP will have to concentrate more on downticket races, especially the Senate.

Despite their claims that all the polls are “skewed”, I’d love to see the GOP internal polls. They’ve gotta be praying that Romney doesn’t totally blow it during the debates; one wrong word or smirk, and he’s truly finished.

Yeah, I do love that, how we’re supposed to accept the argument that the national/state polls are all “skewed” from folks who won’t let us see what the polls “really” say. If the internal polls were such that the GOP felt confident in making such arguments, they’d be fools to hide them.
