Depending on her schedule, I make dinner two or three nights a week. I’d gladly do more, but my wife is a great cook and enjoys cooking. I have about five or six standby recipes, so that is part of the reason, too.
Tonight I made the Cuban national dish Ropa Vieja. I guess the flank steak was cheap as hell before they put the word “steak” on it. Now this is probably the most expensive meal I make.
