OK dude … I got it. but not all of us use hotness as the sole indicator of attractiveness. It’s part of a package (personality, soul, and yes … attractiveness, but also stuff like common beliefs, passionate causes, etc). You can rail against it all you want, it’s a free country. Peace.

And I have in the past, and I will continue to do it. It seems physical attributes are one of the final frontiers left that it is socially acceptable to make snide and suggestive remarks about. In general, most of us have come to terms with skin color and those many other areas that was the bastion of bigots, but physical attributes… well, fat jokes are still acceptable, oogling over a woman because of her body, snide sexual comments, they still seem to slide.

I’m just wondering when we are going to start to take into consideration that most of us are ordinary looking people, far from perfect, and we have feelings. I’ve been fat, skinny, and all places in between. How do you think it makes me feel if someone is claiming someone else is not as attractive because of physical shape or something.

I probably won’t see this changed in my life time. Anytime I bring it up, I get shot down with being stupid or pedantic or over sensitive. And maybe I’m all those thing… but maybe it’s just wrong to crap about anyones physical attributes.
