Well, I don’t browse the site, personally, but everyone I know that does has made it very clear that anyone pulling that pretty much gets strung up. Now, could there be child porn posted there? Sure, but I doubt it stays longer than it takes for a mod to get to it.

I look at it this way. 4chan has a *huge* target on it. moot knows this. There are boatloads of people that would jump at the chance to take it down and child pornography charges would do the trick quite nicely. All I ever hear about 4chan and the subject is, well, rumors. If it was so easy to find, I’d have figured there was more evidence. At worse, I’d assume it was drawn art representing underage characters…which I don’t think is illegal but that part of law seems to be somewhat up in the air.
