The addiction analogy struck me.

Well, it’s not an analogy, it’s real. The reward system in the brain is activated by hate and anger. It’s part of the fight or flight response.

Dealt with that a bit in my own life and it’s exhausting. It will kill a person if left unchecked.

It’s killing this country.
