Here’s the thing: if you look at actual issues, the GOP has substantively moved right over the last decade. Look at gop platforms, laws passed by gop state legislatures, and the substance of the gop debate in Congress. The Dems, even under the socialist Obama, have not moved significantly to the left during this same period of time. Other than same sex marriage, what issues have the Dems gone “far left” on?
