I never saw Pocahontas but the film never belittled her for being Native American. Trump calling Warren “Pocahontas” is meant to be insulting. That’s why he and before him, Scott Brown used it on her. It also shows a lot of ignorance too. Warren thought she was Cherokee. Pocahontas was part of the Pawmunkey or Powahatan tribe. But I’m sure all Native Americans are the same to Dumbo and his sons so the fact that these gentlemen yesterday were Navajo didn’t cross his puny mind.
