The rise of the Stone-Campbell Movement (a return to an idealized “early Christianity” i.e… entirely made up around Scots-Irish and existing Protestant American cultural norms and constraints) of the early 1800’s quickly grew and then led to the Dominionist hellscape we see today. They are primitive thinkers and ruthless. No amount of classical logic, intellectual reason, or fact-based evidence can sway their behavior or views. They are a broad enormous cult fed by a astroturfed Top-down/ groundswell circle jerk of support.
