ironically they beat several very good Cowboy teams in those years…I saw Sanders shred the Cowboys in Detroit twice…just tore them up

Sanders played for the Cowboys of Oklahoma State alongside another great- Thurman Thomas, but the team was still only second- fiddle- in Oklahoma, of course. The drudgery of being on a team that never went anywhere just had to be a real drag.
