There was an Aunt Jemima one too. I never saw any of those until after the Obama election, however, when they were presented as past examples.

The criticism of Condi, however, wasn’t about her race or gender. You can look at liberal blogs and they may hate her, but they hate her because she’s a Republican and very loyal to Bush. I never liked her politics either, but I have a lot of respect for her as a person.

They let their hatred bleed into extreme criticism that strayed into racism. I think this may be the aunt jamima themed Condi Rice cartoon you refer to:
