Losing Ben Nelson is not good news for Democrats and holding the Senate. Lot’s of work ahead.; it can be held. Still. One man down.

I don’t think the Dems are going to hold. Historically Congress shifts to the opposite party of the executive. The Republicans blew a lot of easy victories last time with nutty Tea Party candidates and didn’t pick up as much ground as they should have. Now we have the Dem base more interested in marching around with anarchists and communists and dreaming of armed revolution. I think the Dems will probably lose congress. Let’s hope Obama makes it because otherwise we’ll have wingnuts in control over both houses of congress and even President Mitt won’t be able to keep them in line.
