Any attempt to break out guillotines will see peasants slapped down in a big hury…they might have the numbers but the plutocrats have everything else…

And it assumes all of the middle and lower class people would side with the revolt, which is far from a sure thing.

Honestly, that sort of sentiment is of a kind (though to a lesser degree) with wingnut fantasies of a “Second American Revolution”. Revolution is not a thing to hunger for; Revolutions kill. And with modern weaponry, any fighting is going to be far more deadly than in the 1770’s.
