Americans are taxed much less than Canadians, Israelis, or Europeans but you don’t see me acting like we shouldn’t be able to complain about taxes because of that. Such a stupid meme.

Tax by itself is a false metric. How those taxes affect spending power is much better, however that isn’t as catchy a talking point.
