No, he is unpopular, and remains unpopular with a solid majority of Americans. A President who is nearly 12 points underwater in his approval rating when unemployment is at 3.7% is not well liked.

But Trump was underwater by 20 points a year ago August.

True, the Democrats did retake the House, but lost ground in the Senate (as expected.)

All the Trumpers who are/were on my Facebook timeline are still Trumpers. I have not seen any evidence that any of them have changed.
