For example, if I were teaching an astronomy class, discussing how stars in our galaxy are thousands of light years away, and so, for example, the light from the center of the galaxy arriving now is from a time 25,000 years ago, and some child pops up in class and says her sunday school teacher told her that the Earth is only 6000 years old, so the light couldn’t be from 25,000 years ago, and I replied to the student that what the Sunday school teacher said was “superstitious nonsense”, would I, according the court decision in question, be doing something illegal?
