Most everyone, except for the most wild eyed dreamer, votes for “their” self interest in some form or other
As stated, weigh all the factors. Yes, ONE may be “more” vital than others, but does that “one” outweigh all the others combined
I’ve never understood the mentality that “this” politician isn’t in tune with me 100%, therefore I can’t/won’t vote for them
Hell,,my wife isn’t in tune with me 100% (never has been) and I MARRIED her,,,
A politician, I can get rid of in 2/4/6 years!

I appreciate the reassurance, it’s just as I mentioned, times have changed, my life has changed, and the people around me have changed, and not in the best of ways. I have had friends who have similar issues in their lives, losing jobs, losing homes, and they are so bitter now. I don’t want to be bitter. I want to make things better for my family, but also help others in the process- see idealist, if not a realist…that’s me
