Yep. If we’d locked up Nixon and his criminal team we wouldn’t be dealing with Trump now.

We actually DID lock up his criminal team. Just not Nixon. This allowed him to rehabilitate himself to some extent later on.

But you know, EVEN THEN a lot of the Right said, “Everybody does this. Nixon just got caught.” It’s the same excuse they use for Trump now.
